Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Project Implementation Unit (PIU) invites Expressions of Interest (Individual Consultant Selection) for the Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project (IFRAP) – Component II / Modernization of Hydromet Services (MHSP). The PIU seeks a Civil Engineer (Reference: PK-PMD-562890-CS-INDV; Loan/Grant No. IDA-73330) to provide consultancy services on civil engineering, design, and infrastructure works under the project.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university (Master’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering or related field is an advantage). - Registration as a Professional Engineer with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). |
- Minimum ~10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in civil engineering design, planning, construction supervision, contract administration and quality assurance of public infrastructure projects. - Experience preparing Engineer’s estimates, technical specifications, bidding documents and evaluation of civil works. - Familiarity with PEC standards, building codes, procurement rules and World Bank/ADB/JICA/UN agency procedures preferred. - Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office; strong planning, estimation, reporting, communication and coordination skills. |
Islamabad (PIU PMD). Consultant will be employed on a contract basis and expected to work full-time with the PIU. Open competitive selection per World Bank procurement rules. |
