Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites applications for two Assistant Vice President (AVP) level positions on open term contract basis. Positions seek experienced senior professionals to lead ESG (Environment, Social & Governance) and HR & Branding functions. Position	Qualification	Experience & Age Limit	Core Responsibilities
Assistant Vice President (AVP) — ESG (Environment, Social & Governance)	Minimum: Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental sciences or related discipline from HEC-recognized institution (16 years of education). Master’s and relevant certifications preferred.	Minimum 12 years post‑qualification experience (management role). Maximum age limit: 45 years as of closing date.	Develop and lead PMDC’s ESG and sustainability strategy aligned with international frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB). Oversee health & safety initiatives across operational sites and ensure compliance with national and international standards. Drive environmental goals (emission reduction, energy efficiency, resource conservation) and legal compliance. Lead ESG data management, reporting and preparation of quarterly/annual reports for the Board. Establish governance frameworks, manage budgets for HSE/ESG programs and stakeholder/grievance engagement. Coordinate audits, safety inspections and liaise with relevant authorities (e.g., EPA, NDMA, Rescue 1122).
Assistant Vice President (AVP) — HR & Branding	Master’s degree in HRM or MBA (HR) from HEC-recognized institution (16 years of education). Additional HR certifications preferred.	Minimum 12 years post‑qualification experience of progressive HR in public/private organizations. Maximum age limit: 45 years as of closing date.	Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategy aligned with corporate objectives and Board priorities. Act as strategic HR advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, organization design and HR governance. Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development and workforce capability building. Oversee performance management, compensation & reward, employee engagement and industrial relations. Formulate and implement HR policies ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and strengthen HR systems and digital processes. Design and implement separation/severance schemes where required.
