Tender Notice — Construction & Renovation Works (Municipal Committee Gujar Khan)

Municipal Committee Gujar Khan invites online bids (E-procurement) under PPRA rules for multiple civil works within the jurisdiction of MC Gujar Khan. Bid documents are available on E-Procurement and PPRA websites and can also be purchased from the Municipal Committee office branch on payment of a printing fee (Rs. 5,000). Bids must be submitted via E-procurement by the closing date and will be opened publicly.

Key instructions: bids submitted via E-procurement only; bid submission period ends 2016-10-05 (1:00 PM) and bids will be opened the same day (1:30 PM). Conditional, incomplete or late bids will be rejected. Lowest bidders quoting 35% or less of the estimated cost must deposit additional performance security (total 5% to 10% including CDR) within 15 days. Successful contractors must execute agreement on stamp paper and will receive work orders after approval of rates. Contractors must perform required quality control tests at their own expense.

Mandatory bid documentation includes a valid PEC license (category C-6 or above), active income tax and sales tax registration, an undertaking on legal stamp paper that the firm is not blacklisted, and other standard documents.
