Tender: Procurement of XRF Spectrophotometer — Wheat Research Institute (AARI), Faisalabad

Office of the Chief Scientist, Wheat Research Institute, Ayub Agricultural Research Institute (AARI), Jhang Road, Faisalabad invites sealed bids through the Punjab E‑Procurement System (E‑PRO) for the procurement of laboratory equipment. Bidding is open to interested bidders having valid NTN/STRN, Punjab Sales Tax registration (where applicable) and appearing on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the FBR.

Key instructions and conditions:

1. Bidding documents, technical specifications and detailed terms and conditions are available for download from the Punjab E‑Procurement System (E‑PRO) and are also available on the PPRA Punjab website.

2. The procedure is single stage – two envelope as per Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended). Bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be provided in favour of the Chief Scientist, Wheat Research Institute, AARI, Jhang Road, Faisalabad. Electronic bids must be uploaded on the Punjab E‑Procurement System. Sealed physical bids will not be accepted.

3. Sealed bids must be submitted on or before Monday, 14 September 2026 by 11:00 AM (submission via E‑PRO). Late bids will not be accepted.

4. Technical bids will be publicly opened through the E‑Procurement System (E‑PRO) on 14 September 2026 at 11:30 AM.

5. Bidders are requested to quote their best and final prices inclusive of all applicable taxes, freight, etc. The Agriculture Department reserves the right to reject all bids at any time prior to acceptance in accordance with Rule 35 of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014.

6. This advertisement is also available on the PPRA and E‑PRO websites. Response time shall be calculated from the date of publication on the PPRA & E‑PRO websites. Reference: IPL‑8904.
