Issuer: Privatisation Commission (Government of Pakistan). Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for private‑sector participation in/privatisation of electric distribution companies FESCO, GEPCO and Islamabad Electric Supply Company Limited (IESCO).
Purpose: Acquisition of 51% to 100% share capital together with management control in each of FESCO, GEPCO and IESCO. The Privatisation Commission has extended the EOI submission deadline for IESCO to facilitate interested parties and ensure a more competitive process. All other terms and conditions remain the same. The GoP/Privatisation Commission may change the deadline at its sole discretion.
