Election Notice — Surti Muslim Cooperative Housing Society: President & Managing Committee Elections (Karachi)

Election Committee of Surti Muslim Cooperative Housing Society Limited, Karachi issues notice for election of President and three (3) Members of the Managing Committee under the Cooperative Societies Rules 2020. The election will be held by secret ballot on 2026-10-04 at 09:00 AM at Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PHMA House), 37-H Block-B, PECHS, Karachi.

Important eligibility & instructions:

• Members holding paid-up qualifying share capital of Rs.500/- are eligible to file Nomination Papers (as per Society rules).
• Nomination Papers for President and Committee Members must be submitted with a No-Dues Certificate from the Society as required under the Cooperative Societies Act, 2020.
• Nomination forms will be issued only on production of original CNIC and on payment of Rs.1,000 (one thousand rupees).
• Objections to the members list and to nomination papers have specific windows (objections to members list by 2026-09-09; objection on nomination papers on 2026-09-19; scrutiny and decision on objections on 2026-09-21).
• No proxy or telephonic representation is allowed for voting. Incomplete nomination forms or forms without the official seal will be rejected.
