Tender: Framework Contract for Repair & Maintenance of Manhole Covers — Municipal Committee Taxila

Municipal Committee Taxila invites online bids via the Punjab E‑Procurement System for a framework contract for repair and maintenance of manhole covers within the jurisdiction of Municipal Committee Taxila.

Important conditions:

• Only contractors/bidders holding a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) certificate may apply. A hard copy of the PEC certificate must be produced at the time of tender opening.
• Tender/bid documents may be obtained via PPRA and the Punjab E‑Procurement portal.
• Bidders must quote rates in numbers as well as in words and on a percentage basis/item basis where applicable.
• Earnest money shall be deposited on the new E‑Procurement System; any ambiguity will be resolved by PPRA.
• No rebate on tender rates will be accepted; completion time will be strictly enforced and progress will be proportionate to the contract.
• If the lowest bid is 5% or more below the sanctioned estimated cost, the bidder will be required to deposit the difference as Performance Security (subject to maximum 10%) in the form of a call deposit from a scheduled bank as per Rule 56 of PPRA Rules 2014 and PLG Works Rules 9(d).
• Contractors awarded work must conduct required quality control tests at their own expense.
• The procuring agency may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to acceptance under PPRA Rules 2014 (Sections 33 & 35).
