Pakistan Coast Guards — Civilian Medical Officer (BPS-17) Contract Vacancies in Karachi

Pakistan Coast Guards (Headquarters, Kayani Shaheed Road, Saddar, Karachi) invites applications for appointment of Civilian Medical Officers on a contract basis. Initial contract is for two years and may be renewed based on performance and requirements.

Eligibility: Pakistani citizens and residents of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Ineligible: persons discharged/released from government service on disciplinary grounds or convicted by a court of law for an offence involving moral turpitude.

Terms & conditions (summary): postings may be anywhere within Pakistan Coast Guards area of responsibility including Sindh/Balochistan; pension/gratuity not admissible; Efficiency & Discipline Rules (Esta Code 1973) apply; one month advance notice or payment of basic pay required for termination; Official Secrets Act, 1923 applies; no TA/DA for tests/interviews.

Documents required (duly attested): Computerized National Identity Card, Domicile, Education certificates/degrees (Matric/MBBS etc.), MBBS final professional marksheet, House job certificate, Experience certificate, PMDC registration certificate, and passport-size photographs.
