Senior leadership role to lead Islamic Banking Division, responsible for Islamic finance planning, operations, compliance and business development.

Position	Divisional Head, Islamic Banking Division
Educational / Professional Qualifications	Minimum Bachelor's degree from an HEC-recognized university or foreign equivalence. Basic understanding of Islamic Banking modalities. Professional degree in Shari'ah Law / Certification in Islamic Banking is an added advantage.
Experience	Minimum 15 years' relevant experience in different banks, including at least 5 years as Head/Deputy Head of Islamic Banking operations. Hands-on experience in developing Islamic Banking frameworks, strategy and implementation, preferably in large organizations and public sector institutions.
Key Skills & Knowledge	Excellent knowledge of Islamic Banking operations, Islamic Banking Deposit & Investment Products and Shariah principles Understanding of Islamic Banking economics, risk and compliance management Expertise in product development, liquidity & asset/liability management, and regulatory compliance Strong leadership, stakeholder management, presentation, analytical and communication skills Experience with Shariah board interactions and regulatory reporting
Major Responsibilities	Overall responsibility for Islamic finance planning, management processes, monitoring and portfolio performance in line with policies and regulations Develop and monitor implementation of Islamic Banking strategy and translate into practical business plans Prepare, review and approve credit proposals under Shariah principles and relevant policies Ensure regulatory directives and guidelines issued by the State Bank are complied with Liaise with Shariah Board, head office, regional teams and regulators; represent division in committees and BOD meetings Drive marketing efforts for Islamic business, customer centricity and relationship management
Age Limit	Permanent: up to 42 years on closing date of advertisement; Contract: up to 57 years on closing date of advertisement.
