NGC IFB AFD-TL-03-2026 — Supply of ACSR Rail Conductor (448 km) for 220kV Lines

National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) invites sealed bids under IFB No. IFB-AFD-TL-03-2026 for procurement of transmission line conductor for 220kV transmission lines associated with 500/220kV Sialkot and 220kV Arifwala substations. The procurement is financed by Agence Française de Développement (AFD).

- Last date for submission of bids: 2026-11-27, 11:00 AM (Pakistan Standard Time).
- Bid opening: 2026-11-27 at 11:30 AM at the Office of Director General (Procurement), NGC; bidders’ representatives may attend.

Pre-bid and document purchase:

- A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Office of Director General (Procurement), NGC, 8th Floor, Shaheen Complex, Egerton Road, Lahore.
- Bidding documents in English are available on written application to the address below on payment of a non‑refundable fee of PKR 5,000 (or USD equivalent) by cashier's cheque/pay order/demand draft in favor of the designated NGC officer. Documents may be sent by post against additional delivery charges (domestic and overseas charges specified in the bidding documents).

Bid security, eligibility and delivery:

- Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as specified in the Bidding Documents.
- Qualification and evaluation criteria follow Section III of the Bidding Documents; requirements include manufacturer experience, previous supply of similar goods, and authorization when bidding as a non-manufacturer.
- Delivery period: 150 days (CIP Karachi / EXW Pakistan) from the date of contract signing.
- AFD’s Domestic Preference Scheme will be applied as stipulated in the Bidding Documents.
