Issuer: Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi.
Purpose: E‑tenders are invited for multiple packages for rehabilitation and improvement of streets and nullahs across Rawalpindi. Works are divided into numerous lots covering individual localities and allied streets.
Eligibility & procurement method: Firms/contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and on the Punjab E‑procurement System must submit bids electronically through the Punjab e‑Procurement System as per PPRA and Punjab E‑procurement rules. Bidders may attach registration documents/certificates of PEC, GST, PST etc. through the EPI system. The E‑Tender Notice and bidding documents are available on the Punjab e‑Procurement portal and the PPRA website. E‑bids will be opened through the Punjab E‑Procurement System.
Security & performance guarantee: Bid security 5% of the estimated cost is required (submitted electronically). The lowest bidder must deposit a Performance Security of 10% of contract cost through the e‑Procurement system; it will be returned/released on successful completion or retained in favour of the Government as applicable. Manual bid security (CDR) or bank guarantee will not be accepted.
Submission & opening:
- Bid submission deadline: 2026-10-17 at 11:00 AM (bidders to submit through Punjab e‑Procurement System).
- Technical/financial bid opening: 2026-10-17 at 11:30 AM on the same day.
Compliance: Bids will be evaluated under PPRA rules; the contractor is responsible for payment of all taxes applicable at the time of payment. Any bid not conforming to PPRA rules or containing uncalled information shall be rejected.
How to access tender documents: Download the complete bid document from the Punjab e‑Procurement System and submit electronically. The E‑bid or proposal/physical hard copy submitted outside the e‑Procurement system shall not be considered.
