Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), invites applications on an open contract basis for a Marketing / Export Promotion Officer for its Salt Business unit at the Head Office in Islamabad.

Position Qualification Experience Age Key Responsibilities
Marketing / Export Promotion Officer – Salt Business Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field Minimum 3 years of post-qualification relevant experience in sales, marketing, export promotion, international business development; preferably in salt, minerals, food products, FMCG, or commodities 35 years on the last date of application submission
  • Identify and develop new customers, distributors, dealers, importers, exporters, retailers, and institutional buyers.
  • Develop and grow domestic and international markets using market intelligence, data analytics and BI tools to generate qualified sales leads.
  • Promote PMDC salt products via digital marketing, social media, B2B platforms, exhibitions, trade fairs, business meetings, and other channels.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers and ensure effective follow-up on inquiries and leads.
  • Prepare quotations, commercial offers, product presentations, and marketing materials in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Explore opportunities for bulk, retail, food-grade, industrial, value-added, and private-label salt products in local and export markets.
  • Assist in export-related activities including coordination of documentation, shipment arrangements, payment terms, and commercial requirements.
  • Support management in achieving local and export sales targets and annual marketing plans.
  • Perform other duties related to sales, marketing, export promotion, and business development as assigned.
