PMDC Vacancy: Marketing / Export Promotion Officer — Salt Business

Issuer: Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC). Position: Marketing / Export Promotion Officer — Salt Business. Location: Head Office, Plot No.13, Sector H-9, Islamabad.

Key responsibilities:
1. Identify and develop new customers, distributors, dealers, importers, exporters, retailers, and institutional buyers.
2. Identify and develop domestic and international markets using market intelligence, data analytics, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to generate qualified sales leads and new business opportunities.
3. Promote PMDC salt products through digital marketing, social media, B2B platforms, exhibitions, trade fairs, business meetings, and other promotional channels.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers and ensure effective follow-up of inquiries and leads.
5. Prepare quotations, commercial offers, product presentations, samples, and other marketing materials in coordination with relevant departments.
6. Explore opportunities for bulk, retail, food-grade, industrial, value-added, and private-label salt products in local and export markets.
7. Assist in export-related activities including coordination of documentation, shipment arrangements, payment terms, and other commercial requirements.
8. Support management in preparation and achievement of local and export sales targets and annual marketing plans.
9. Perform other duties related to sales, marketing, export promotion, and business development as assigned.
