The Election Commission of Pakistan has served notice to the Technology Movement of Pakistan for failing to hold required intra-party elections due on 2026-02-23 as directed by the Commission. A showcause notice issued on 2026-03-16 went unanswered.
The party is required to submit relevant intra-party election documents to the Election Commission office and appear for a hearing scheduled at the Election Commission on 2026-07-08. Failure to comply may result in proceedings under Section 202(5) of the Elections Act, 2017.
