Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites applications for the post of Associate (Electrical) on open contract/permanent basis for a PMDC mining/project site in Balochistan.

Qualification Minimum B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical from an HEC-recognized institution
Experience Minimum 2–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in electrical operation, maintenance and troubleshooting; preferably at mining, industrial or heavy engineering sites
Age Maximum 47 years on the closing date
Preference Candidates having domicile of Balochistan will be preferred
Place of Posting PMDC Project / Mining Site, Balochistan
Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery and installations at mining/project sites.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Inspect, repair and maintain motors, control panels, power distribution systems, switchgear and other electrical installations.
  • Assist in installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems as required.
  • Carry out routine inspections and scheduled maintenance and maintain records of electrical maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, HSE requirements and applicable standards.
  • Provide day-to-day electrical support for smooth and uninterrupted mining/project operations.
