Punjab Highway Dept Tender: Dualization/Rehabilitation of Lahore–Sheikhupura–Sargodha Road (Sheikhupura Part-A)

Issuer: Punjab Highway Department. Tender invited from engineering firms/contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category (C-1 and above) and holding relevant codes for Road & Pavement and Bridge Structures. Firms must be registered on Punjab e-Procurement Portal and may obtain procedure/registration information from the PPRA/Provincial portals.

Submission & Bid Security: Bids must be submitted online through the Punjab e-Procurement System (Bank of Punjab link). Bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted digitally via the e-Procurement System in favour of Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Sheikhupura. The lowest evaluated bidder must submit a performance/security guarantee of 10% of the bid amount within 15 days of issuance of letter of intent; guarantee must be valid for 3 months beyond completion/extended time and submitted by CDR, Bank Draft, Pay Order or Cashier’s Cheque.

Other conditions: All contractor claims must be submitted electronically through the digital measurement book (DMB). The procuring agency may reject bids under relevant PPRA rules. Bids will be retrieved and opened in presence of the Tender Opening Committee; contractors may attend the opening at the Office of the Commissioner, Lahore Division.
