Punjab Highway Department Tender: Dualization/Rehabilitation of Road in Sheikhupura — Tender Opening 2026-10-21

Punjab Highway Department (Highway Division Sheikhupura) invites e-tenders from Pakistan Engineering Council registered firms/contractors (category C-4 and above) in relevant codes Road & Pavements (CE01) and Bridge Structures (CE02). Participation is via the Punjab e-Procurement System (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk).

Key requirements: registration on Punjab e-Procurement and PPRA websites; bid security 5% of estimated cost to be submitted online via the Punjab e-Procurement System in favour of the Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Sheikhupura (physical securities such as CDR/Pay Order/Draft/Cashier cheque will not be accepted). The lowest evaluated bidder must submit a performance guarantee of 10% of the bid within 15 days of receipt of letter of intent in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, Cashier Cheque, Pay Order or Bank Guarantee valid for three months beyond completion. E-bids found corrupt or containing viruses will be rejected. Contractors may attend the tender opening; bidders quoting rates improperly will be rejected. All claims must be submitted electronically through the digital Measurement Book (MB).

Issuing authority: Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Sheikhupura. Tenders will be retrieved and opened in the office of the Commissioner, Lahore Division on the opening date. If the opening day is a public holiday the tender will be opened on the next working day.
