Pakistan Coast Guards invites applications for the post of Civilian Medical Officer on a contract basis. The initial contract is for two years and may be renewed. Applications are to be submitted to Headquarters Pakistan Coast Guards, Kayani Shaheed Road, Saddar, Karachi; application form is available on www.pakistancoastguards.gov.pk or can be collected from the mentioned address. Applications must be submitted within 15 days of the advertisement.

Eligibility & Ineligibility: Must be a Pakistani citizen or from Azad Jammu Kashmir. Candidates dismissed from Government service on disciplinary grounds or convicted by a court of law for an offense involving moral turpitude are ineligible.
Terms and Conditions: Pension and gratuity are not admissible. Efficiency and Discipline Rules per Esta Code 1973 apply. One month advance notice or payment in lieu will be required for termination of contract. No postgraduate training/courses will be allowed during the contract period. Official Secret Act, 1923 will be applicable. Pay and allowances will be admissible as per BPS-17.

Candidates must attach attested copies of: Computerized National Identity Card, Domicile, Education Certificate/Degree (Matric/FSc/MBBS/MPH etc.), MBBS final professional marks sheet, House Job certificate, Experience certificate, Character certificate, PMDC registration certificate, and 2 recent passport-size photographs.
Selection: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and/or interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called. No TA/DA will be provided. Employment will be governed by Pakistan Coast Guards Employment Rules.
