Daanish University (Islamabad) invites applications for the senior post of Director Finance to lead and establish the University’s finance function.

| Essential Qualification | Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, or CPA) OR Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (Finance), or a related field. Degree(s) must be from an HEC-recognized university/institution. |
| Preferred | Professional accountancy qualification plus certifications in public financial management, procurement, or IT/systems. |
| Experience | Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting, with preferably 5 or more years as CFO, Director Finance, or Head of Finance. Proven record of setting up financial systems and controls and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo). Strong command of IFRS/IPSAS, taxation, audit, and PPRA rules. Experience in higher education, trusts, not-for-profit, or public sector is highly preferred. |
| Key Responsibilities | Design and implement a financial management system (chart of accounts, policies, SOPs, internal controls); lead finance and procurement modules of the University ERP; build a digital-first, paperless finance function; lead budgeting, planning, treasury and endowment management; ensure timely reporting, compliance, audit and risk management; oversee procurement and build a high-performing finance team. |
