Islamabad Club Hiring Chief Financial Officer (CFO) — 3-Year Contract

Islamabad Club invites applications for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on a 3-year contract (extendable for 2 years). The CFO will report to the CEO and be based in Islamabad.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and overall financial strategy.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and laws.
• Manage member billing, subscriptions, receivables and recovery of outstanding dues.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, investments of Club funds and banking relationships.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls across F&B, rooms, stores, sports and event revenues.
• Liaise with external auditors and Head of Internal Audit.
• Ensure full tax compliance (income tax, sales tax on services, withholding) and statutory filings.
• Provide financial analysis and MIS reports to the CEO, Finance Committee and Board, including departmental profitability and costing.
• Lead, develop and supervise the Finance & Accounts team.

Eligibility & qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, ACMA or CPA as mandatory qualification.
• MBA (Finance) from an HEC-recognized university will be considered an additional advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years as CFO, Finance Director or Head of Finance.
• Experience in hospitality, members' clubs or a not-for-profit organization preferred.
• Working experience with ERP/hospitality accounting systems (SAP, Odoo, Oracle, Opera or similar).

Terms

• Appointment on contract basis for a period of 3 years; contract may be extended for a further 2 years subject to satisfactory performance.
• Position is purely contractual and not regularizable; no claim to permanent employment.
