National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has admitted a tariff modification petition filed by Punjab Power Development Company Limited for the 7.64 MW Marala Hydropower Project and will hold a public hearing.

Key modification requests by the petitioner:

| 2. | Reduction of the Annual Energy Benchmark from 49.995 GWh to 34.045 GWh. |
| 3. | Allow pass-through of insurance (capped at 0.8% of EPC cost) and applicable taxes/levies (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Excise Duty or other duty, levy, charge or surcharge on sale of electricity). |
| 4. | Change tariff structure from Take‑or‑Pay to Take‑and‑Pay with must‑run; hydrological risk to remain with the seller; excess generation to be compensated at 10% of the tariff. |
| 5. | Reduction of operational insurance cap from 1.35% to 0.8% of EPC cost (or actual cost, whichever is lower). |
| 6. | Exclude 7.5% dividend withholding tax as a pass‑through item; exclude Water Use Charge payable to Government of Punjab from the tariff from the effective date. |
