Gilgit-Baltistan Information Department Tender — Investment of Media Welfare Fund Policy 2026 (TDR & Daily Profit Account)

Issuer: Government of Gilgit‑Baltistan, Civil Secretariat — Information Department GB. Purpose: Invitation to scheduled banks for customized financial proposals and structured banking products to invest the Media Welfare Fund Policy 2026 in long‑term Term Deposit Receipt (TDR) and a daily profit account.

How to apply and key terms:

1. Bidding documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned during any working day before closing office hours on or before 2026-11-03 upon submission of a written application on the bank's letterhead and payment of Rs. 14,000 (non‑refundable) through treasury challan as bid document fee under GB Finance Act, 2026.

2. Interested scheduled banks must have a sound financial position with minimum credit rating “AA” for TDR investment and “A” for the Daily Profit Account.

3. Conditional or optional bids will be treated as non‑responsive. Bidding will follow Section 39(b) of GB Public Procurement Rules, 2022 under the single stage–two envelope method.

4. Submission and opening: Bids should reach the office of the Deputy Director Information located at Jutiyal, Gilgit on or before 2026-11-03 by 11:30 hours. Opening for the TDR bids will be on the same date (opening time listed as 11:00 hours) and opening for daily product bids will be on the same date at 13:00 hours in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives bearing authority letters from the concerned banks.

5. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders under clause‑36(1) of GB PPR, 2022. This tender is also available on the departmental website of GBPPRA. If the tender opening day falls on a local or national holiday or any emergency, bids will be opened on the next working day.
