Issuer: Chief Military Engineer Services (Navy) COMCOAST Office, PNS Karsaz, Karachi. Purpose: Pre-qualification of contractors and issue/submission of tenders for multiple small works and supply projects for coastal command installations.

Eligibility and submission requirements: Contractors/firms must apply for pre-qualification by the stated deadline. Only firms on the approved list of MES contractors or other government departments with relevant experience should apply. Contractors must furnish a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration certificate and a bank statement. Firms not on approved lists must provide proof of being on the approved list of MES contractors or submit details of past work, bank certificates, registration documents, list of staff and equipment, and attested proof of completion for similar works executed in the last two years.
Bid security: Contractors not borne on MES approved lists or those suspended must deposit earnest money equal to 2% of the estimated cost in prescribed form; the amount is refundable if contractors are not pre-qualified or do not secure the contract.
Application proforma: Applicants must submit a proforma detailing works executed in the last two years and ongoing work, executing agency, contract amounts, time allowed, actual completion dates, percentage progress for ongoing works, and departmental performance reports.
Notes: CMES (N) COMCOAST reserves the right to reject bids or proposals at any time and may communicate grounds for rejection upon request.
