Election Commission of Pakistan informs that the Technology Movement of Pakistan Party, whose last intra-party elections were held on 2021-02-23 and were due again on 2026-02-23, failed to hold the scheduled elections despite a directive dated 2025-12-17 (Letter Confd-2021(12)2). A show-cause notice was issued on 2026-03-16 and the party did not respond or appear at the hearing fixed for 2026-06-18.
The party is hereby notified that a hearing before the Election Commission is fixed for 2026-07-08. The party must submit relevant intra-party election documents required under Sections 208 and 209 of the Elections Act, 2017; otherwise action under Section 202(5) of the Elections Act, 2017 will be initiated. Issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan (Deputy Director, Law).
