National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites applications for senior leadership positions in the Governance & Control Division at its Head Office in Karachi. These are contractual roles responsible for overseeing HR matters for overseas operations and bank-wide operations, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s strategy, compliance and operational controls.

| Wing Head — HR Overseas (VP) | Divisional Head, Governance & Control Division | Minimum graduation or equivalent from a local or international university; Master’s degree and/or relevant professional certification preferred. | Minimum relevant years of experience in banking/financial services with exposure to international/overseas operations, employee relations, overseas postings, expatriate management and international HR practices. Lead and oversee HR operations for overseas branches, subsidiaries and international offices; develop HR strategies and workforce plans; manage recruitment, selection, postings, transfers, repatriation and related HR processes; provide HR advisory to Country Heads and Branch Managers; implement performance, talent development and succession frameworks; ensure compliance with Bank policies and approvals. |
| Wing Head — Operations (VP) | Divisional Head, Governance & Control Division | Minimum graduation or equivalent from a local or international university; Master’s degree and/or relevant professional certification preferred. | Minimum years of financial sector experience with significant exposure to banking operations, compliance and internal control areas. Responsible for operations governance, process controls, operational risk management, implementation of policies and procedures, monitoring of operational performance, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure regulatory and internal compliance. |
Employment type: Contractual basis for three years (may be renewed). Only shortlisted candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be invited for assessment/interview.
