Municipal Committee Khanewal Tender for Kerb Stones and Direction Boards

Municipal Committee Khanewal invites electronic bids from contractors, firms, manufacturers and authorized dealers for the following works. Bidders must be registered with the Punjab e-procurement system, FBR, PRA with NTN and PNTN, and the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category.

Complete, authenticated bids must be submitted by uploading a PDF file through the Punjab e-procurement portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk.

Each e-bid must be accompanied by bid security of 5% of the estimated price, with the amount shown above. Bid security must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-procurement system in accordance with PPRA instructions. Physical bid-security instruments will not be accepted.

A single-stage, single-envelope bidding procedure will apply. Submission of an encrypted electronic file will be treated as submission in an envelope under the rules. An e-bid or proposal containing a corrupt record, an unreadable record or a virus will be rejected. Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

The procuring agency may reject all bids or proposals at any time before acceptance under Rule 35 of the Punjab PPRA Rules 2014. If the submission deadline falls on an official holiday, bids will be due on the next working day. Bids will remain valid for 120 days.

Under Rule 56 of the PPRA Rules 2014, the lowest evaluated bidder must submit a performance security or guarantee equal to 10% of the contract amount within 15 days of receiving the offer letter. It must be in favour of the Chief Officer, Municipal Committee Khanewal, and submitted only as a CDR or bank guarantee. Other forms of performance guarantee will not be accepted.

Bidders should upload their bids well before the deadline rather than waiting until the last date and time. Submission through the Punjab e-procurement system is entirely the bidder's responsibility, and Municipal Committee Khanewal will not be responsible for submission-related issues.
