NICVD Karachi Postgraduate Training and Fellowship Positions 2026

The Medical Education Department of the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Karachi, invites online applications for postgraduate training, fellowship and TRMO positions. Training will begin in January 2027. Applicants from across Pakistan may apply, and selection will be purely on merit.

All positions require MBBS, completion of a house job and valid PMDC registration. Additional eligibility requirements and programme durations are given below.

Application procedure: Apply through https://pgme.nicvdservices.com/ and follow the procedure on the portal. A candidate may apply for only one position at a time. All applications must be submitted online; courier and hand-delivered applications will not be accepted.

Application deadline: Monday, November 16, 2026. The online portal will become inactive after the closing date, so applicants must submit their forms before the deadline.

Only shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview or test. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview or test. Government employees must apply through the proper channel and bring an NOC to the interview. Foreign applicants must have a valid student visa and a valid PMDC certificate.

All courses are full-time training positions. Trainees may not work with another organization during the training period, except those appointed as TRMO Tier I or Tier II. Application processing and admission fees will apply. A stipend will be provided according to NICVD policies.
