Islamabad Excise Public Proclamation for Seized Toyota Lexus AAEW-966

The Government of Pakistan, Excise & Taxation Department, Islamabad Capital Territory, has issued a public proclamation under Rule 6 of the Islamabad Capital Territory (Seizure and Disposal of Motor Vehicles) Rules, 2014, as amended, concerning the following vehicle taken into its possession:

Despite issuance of a notice under Rule 5(3), the owner or keeper has failed to respond or establish bona fide ownership or possession of the vehicle, or bona fide grounds for tampering with the chassis plate, as applicable.

Any person having a claim, right, title or interest in the vehicle must appear before the Motor Registration Authority, Excise & Taxation Department, Islamabad, with original documentary evidence supporting their claim within two weeks from the date of issuance of this proclamation.

If no claim is received within this period, proceedings for confiscation of the vehicle in favour of the Government will be initiated under Rule 7 of the Rules, in accordance with law.
