Government College Lahore Jobs 2026 – Research and Technical Positions

Government College, Lahore, a public sector university, invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals for six-month contract appointments under the PSDP-funded development project, Centre for Advanced Studies in Physics, Government College University Lahore, at the New Campus in Kala Shah Kaku.

All positions carry an annual increment of 3%.

Post the duly completed form, attested copies of all testimonials, experience certificates, CNIC and CV to the Registrar Office, Government College, Lahore, for receipt during office hours by 25 November 2026.

The non-refundable processing fee is Rs. 1,000 for Research Officer and Research Associate, and Rs. 500 each for Research Assistant, Sub Engineer and Lab Assistant. Pay through a challan at HBL, GC Branch; online into HBL account 2398-70001616-03; or by bank draft, demand draft or postal order in favour of Vice Chancellor GC, Lahore. Submit the original bank challan receipt or draft with the application form.

A 5% quota for minorities and a 3% quota for persons with disabilities will be observed. General upper-age relaxation of up to five years for men and eight years for women applies under Government of the Punjab, S&GAD circular No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/81 dated 4 November 2006.

The university may shortlist applicants under its Syndicate-approved criteria. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, and travel and daily allowances will not be paid. Incomplete applications and applications received after the deadline will not be considered. The university may increase or decrease the number of posts and may accept or reject applications for any position without assigning a reason.
