Environmental Protection Tribunal KP Member Technical Vacancy

The Environmental Protection Agency, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, under the Climate Change, Forestry, Environment & Wildlife Department, invites applications from eligible and qualified candidates for appointment as Member Technical of the Environmental Protection Tribunal, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The appointment will be made under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Environmental Protection Act, 2014, and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Environmental Protection Tribunal Rules, 2016.

Eligibility and appointment terms: Candidates must be bona fide residents and domicile holders of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The maximum age is 65 years on the closing date for applications. The appointment will be for three years, extendable by the Provincial Government, after consultation with the Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court, for a further period not exceeding two years under the applicable rules.

The Member Technical will receive the salary, allowances and privileges admissible to a civil servant in BPS-21. The selected candidate must take the prescribed oath of office before the Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court or a judge nominated by the Chief Justice, in accordance with Rule 6 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Environmental Protection Tribunal Rules, 2016.

Applications must reach the Director General, Environmental Protection Agency, 3rd Floor, SDU Building, Gate No. 5, Khyber Road, Peshawar Cantt., Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, within 15 days of publication of this announcement.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any application or cancel the recruitment process in accordance with law.
