Database Developer Jobs at KP Local Government Department – Apply by 30 November 2026

The Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Department invites applications from capable and motivated candidates domiciled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or its merged areas for two Database Developer positions on a contract basis.

Application schedule: The online application form will be available at www.etea.edu.pk from 10 November 2026. The closing date for online applications is 30 November 2026.

How to apply: Create a profile on ETEA's website. Before applying or depositing the fee, obtain an E-Sahulat token from the website and have your CNIC verified at any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise or kiosk. This verification is mandatory for submitting an application. Candidates must review the detailed terms of reference, qualifications and experience requirements available through the department's website, www.lgkp.gov.pk, and ETEA's website.

Apply online at www.etea.edu.pk. After successful submission, a prescribed online deposit slip containing a token number, project code and the candidate's personal information will be generated. Take a copy of the generated slip and deposit the prescribed non-refundable fee through OneLink. Retain the original candidate copy bearing the bank's receipt stamp and do not share it with anyone.

Do not send documents or testimonials to the ETEA office after applying online. Candidates who qualify for the screening test must provide copies when requested by ETEA or the appointing authority for scrutiny.

Selection and eligibility: Candidates will be provisionally allowed to take the ETEA screening test. The appointing authority will conduct detailed scrutiny, and any candidate found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified. Screening will be based on a test prescribed and conducted by ETEA. Only shortlisted candidates will receive interview call letters. Candidates must meet all eligibility requirements by the application closing date. Incomplete and late applications will not be entertained.

Candidates employed by government or semi-government bodies must apply through the proper channel. Acceptable experience includes service in government, semi-government or autonomous bodies; government-funded or donor-funded projects; and private firms or organizations registered with the relevant IT boards, Pakistan Software Export Board and SECP. Holders of foreign degrees must provide an HEC equivalence certificate. No TA/DA is admissible for the test or interview. Errors or omissions in the number of posts are subject to rectification.

Employment terms: Appointments will be made under the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's project policy. Appointed employees will be governed by that policy, and their services may be terminated upon expiry of the project's life or earlier if their performance is unsatisfactory.

Test information: ETEA will notify candidates by SMS to download and obtain their roll number slips from www.etea.edu.pk. Candidates must not provide a ported or converted mobile number. The test date, time and venue will appear on the roll number slip. Separate screening-test call letters will not be sent by post or courier.
