The Pakistan Tobacco Board (PTB), an autonomous body under the Ministry of National Food Security & Research, Government of Pakistan, invites applications for a regular Lower Division Clerk vacancy against the Balochistan quota. Only candidates holding a Balochistan domicile certificate or valid residence certificate are eligible to apply.

The recruitment is being conducted under the Federal Government's one-time exemptions for recruitment against vacant BS-1 to BS-16 posts under the Balochistan quota, conveyed through Establishment Division O.M. No. F.2/5/2026-BEFC/001 dated 22 and 27 October 2026, and in accordance with the Pakistan Tobacco Board (Service) Rules, 1985.
Interested candidates may apply online through the National Job Portal at www.njp.gov.pk using the dedicated Balochistan quota recruitment tab, or apply on the prescribed application form downloadable from www.ptb.gov.pk. Applications must be submitted within 15 days of publication of this advertisement. Incomplete applications and applications received after the deadline will not be entertained.
The upper age limit is relaxable by five years under Establishment Division O.M. No. 9/2/91-R-5 dated 28 November 2000. Age will be calculated on the closing date for receipt of applications. Candidates already serving in government must apply through the proper channel.
A written/screening test will be held. Selection will be made on merit by the Selection Committee. The interview venue, date and time will be communicated to eligible candidates and posted on the PTB website. Candidates must bring their original educational certificates, CNIC and domicile or residence certificate to the interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
The selected candidate will be posted at the Pakistan Tobacco Board Head Office in Peshawar. PTB reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
