Washuk Land Acquisition Notice for Khuzdar–Naal–Basima N-30 Road

The Deputy Commissioner/Collector, District Washuk, has issued a land acquisition notification in continuation of office Order No. 1090-98 dated 26 June 2020. The National Highway Authority, Government of Pakistan, requires land in Mouza Loocho, Tehsil Basima, District Washuk, for construction of the Khuzdar–Naal–Basima (Section-1) Road Project N-30. The right of way is 50 metres.

The notification covers 196 rod and 6 pol of settled and unsettled land. This includes 71 rod and 31 pol of settled land and 124 rod and 15 pol of unsettled land. The declaration is made under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

Under the powers conferred by Section 4, the Deputy Commissioner/Collector authorizes officers, their servants and workmen to undertake work on the land, enter upon and survey it, and carry out other acts required or permitted by that section.

Any person with an interest in the affected land who objects to its acquisition under Section 5(A) of the Act must submit a written objection to the Deputy Commissioner/Collector, District Washuk, within 30 days of publication of the notification.

The acquisition comprises 14 settled parcels and 6 unsettled parcels in Mouza Loocho, totaling 20 parcels. The grand total affected area is 196 rod and 6 pol, equivalent to 49 acres, 0 rod and 6 pol.
