LESCO Jobs Under Balochistan Quota – Apply Through OTS by 24 November 2026

Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO) invites applications from candidates with Balochistan domicile for contract appointments under the Balochistan quota through Open Testing Service (OTS). The posts carry lump-sum salary packages and a three-month probation period.

LESCO is incorporated under the Companies Ordinance 1984 and supplies electricity to 7.28 million valued consumers across Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara and Nankana districts, with more than 19,000 employees.

All appointments will be purely contractual, with market-based lump-sum salary packages. They will be non-pensionable, carry no long-term benefits and will not be converted into permanent positions at a later stage.

How to apply: Register and submit the application online at www.ots.org.pk. Upload copies of all educational documents, CNIC front and back, domicile certificate, experience certificate where required, PEC registration certificate where required, a recent photograph and all relevant documents through the online application portal. Applications submitted by hand or received after the deadline will not be entertained.

Application fee: Applicants must pay Rs. 80, representing 50% of the fee, while LESCO will pay the remaining 50%. To pay, log into a banking application, select “1-Bill Payment,” enter the PSID, verify the details and complete payment. A separate application is required for each post.

Applicants should regularly visit www.ots.org.pk for announcements concerning the roll-number slip, written-test schedule, results and related recruitment updates. Detailed job descriptions, skill sets and post specifications are available on the OTS and LESCO websites.

Eligibility and selection conditions:

• Only candidates holding Balochistan domicile are eligible.
• The minimum passing score in the written test is 50%.
• Computer knowledge, including MS Office, Windows, internet and email, is compulsory for the posts.
• Only candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear in the written test. Passing the written test alone does not qualify a candidate for employment.
• A candidate's degree cumulative grade point average will be evaluated against the HEC standard chart available on the HEC website.
• Candidates who have completed their degree are eligible. Candidates whose final result has not been issued or whose result is awaited will not be considered.
• Selected candidates may be posted anywhere within LESCO's jurisdiction according to the company's requirements.
• LESCO reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the entire recruitment process at any stage without assigning a reason.
• Dismissed or screened-out employees of any organization, candidates with a criminal record, and candidates ineligible for employment in LESCO are not eligible.
• Concealment or misrepresentation of facts at any stage will disqualify a candidate from the current recruitment and from all types of tests or examinations conducted by LESCO or the recruitment agency in future. Academic certificates, degrees, domicile and police verification will be checked. Bogus or fake documents will result in withdrawal of employment ab initio and recovery of salaries paid.
• No TA/DA will be paid for the written test or interview.
• Incomplete applications and applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

Age relaxation and serving employees: General age relaxation is already included in the stated age limits. Further relaxation is allowed only for candidates belonging to scheduled castes and Buddhists, who receive three years, and government servants who have completed two years of continuous government service by the closing date, who receive ten years of upper-age relaxation. Candidates employed in government or semi-government organizations, autonomous bodies or state-owned enterprises must apply through the proper channel. An advance application copy may be submitted, but a valid departmental NOC must be produced at interview; otherwise, the candidate will not be allowed to appear.

Application corrections and recruitment queries: Applicants should read the online application instructions carefully before completing the OTS form. Corrections to personal, academic and experience information must be made before final submission; changes after submission will not be accepted. Late submissions by courier will not bind LESCO or OTS. Queries raised at any stage will be resolved by OTS management during shortlisting, the written test and associated matters. Litigation relating to recruitment tests will be handled by the testing agency at its own responsibility, without liability for LESCO.
