Application procedure: Submit an application with four recent passport-size photographs and attested copies of educational qualifications, CNIC, domicile/PRC and relevant experience certificates or licences to the Office of the Medical Superintendent, Dr. Ruth K.M. Pfau, Civil Hospital Karachi, Baba-e-Urdu Road, Karachi. Applications must reach the office within 15 days of publication of the advertisement. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
Domicile and eligibility: Applications are invited only from candidates holding Karachi domicile, subject to the applicable recruitment policy and Government of Sindh rules. Candidates must fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria for their chosen post and provide documentary proof wherever relevant experience, a licence, registration or a specific certificate is required.
Age limit: Candidates must be 18 to 28 years old. General relaxation in the upper age limit is admissible under the applicable government policy and notification in force. Five years of general upper-age relaxation is admissible under Notification No. SOII(SGA&CD)5-64/2011 (Part-II), dated March 6, 2025, issued by the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department, Government of Sindh.
Quotas and government employees: Quotas for women, minorities, persons with disabilities and transgender persons will be reserved under the applicable government rules and policy. Candidates already in government service must apply through the proper channel.
Selection conditions: Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for a test or interview. Candidates must produce original documents when required. Canvassing in any form or manner will result in disqualification. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the test or interview.
Appointment conditions: The competent authority may increase or decrease the number of vacancies, subject to applicable rules. Applying does not confer a right to appointment. Appointments will be made under the Sindh Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules, 1973, including any prescribed probation period. Appointment is subject to verification of credentials, medical fitness where required, character or police verification where applicable, and fulfilment of all prescribed formalities.
