UNIC Pakistan Auction of Surplus Equipment, Furniture and Motorcycle in Islamabad

The United Nations Information Centre (UNIC), Pakistan, invites bids for the sale of surplus used items. The items are being offered by UNIC and the Pakistan office of the International Labour Organization.

Inspection: Interested buyers may inspect the items on Thursday, 11 November, and Friday, 12 November, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at UN House, Diplomatic Enclave, G-13, G-12, Islamabad.

Bid deadline: Friday, 12 November, at 4:00 p.m. Only sealed bids will be accepted. Submit a separate sealed bid for each lot, together with the security deposit, so that it reaches the designated location before the deadline.

Security deposit: PKR 50,000 per lot. The deposit may be submitted by crossed cheque payable to “UNDP Representative in Pakistan (Rupee) account.”

All items will be sold on an “as is, where is” basis. Successful bidders must pay for and collect the items within one week of approval of their bids and will bear the cost of removing them. Successful bidders will be informed by Tuesday, 23 November. Sale permission for the motorcycle will be issued after payment.

UNIC Pakistan reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. A successful bidder's security deposit will be forfeited if the items are not collected within the prescribed period following approval of the bid.
