Tender: Disposal of Large Scrap Transformers — Head Material Management, Karachi

Head Material Management (Directorate of Technical Support) Karachi invites sealed bids for the disposal/purchase of large scrap transformers. Bidding documents are available from the Head Material Management site office near Javed Bahira Housing Society, opposite HASCUL Fuel Pump, Karachi 75400 on payment of a non-refundable fee. Sealed quotations must follow the instructions below.

How to obtain bidding documents: Documents may be obtained from the Head Material Management site office between 08:30 and 16:00 (except Saturday, Sunday & public holidays) on submission of a non-refundable payment of Rs. 1,000 by Pay Order/Bank Draft in favor of Directorate of Technical Support.

Submission: Submit sealed bid(s) in the required envelopes as stated in the bidding terms. One sealed envelope for the quotation and a separate envelope showing GST No. allotted by FBR must be included. Quotations should be delivered to the Head Material Management office by the bid closing time. Late bids will not be accepted. The tender will be awarded on the basis of the highest rate quotation(s) for purchase of scrap transformers.

Important conditions: Government taxes (Advance Income Tax, GST and/or other applicable taxes) will apply. All taxes and duties will be applied as per policy/rules/regulations at the time of award. Documentary evidence of National Tax No. and Trade Certificate must be attached. In case of holiday on the due date, the bids will be opened on the next working day. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations without assigning any reason.
