LESCO Invitation for Bids (Lot VI) – 11kV & 132kV Capacitor Cells (Deadline 2026-08-17)

Issuer: Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO) on behalf of the Power Distribution Strengthening Project (Loan 4567-PAK) funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Contract: ADB-IV-G-R1-LESCO-2026 (Lot-6) — Procurement of 132kV STG Material (11kV and 132kV Capacitor Cells). Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage One-Envelope procedure. Bidders from eligible countries may submit bids.

Key eligibility and requirements (summary):

• Only eligible bidders as described in the bidding documents may participate.
• Bidders should be manufacturers or authorized representatives; manufacturers must have at least 5 years' design/manufacturing experience and proven performance supplying similar goods.
• Supplied goods must meet quality, ratings and quantity experience thresholds as specified in the bidding document.

Bid documents and fees:

• To obtain bidding documents (in English) eligible bidders must submit a written request quoting the contract number and pay a non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000 (or USD equivalent) by cashier's cheque, pay order or demand draft in favour of Chief Executive Officer, LESCO. Documents may be collected in person or sent by post/courier against additional charges.
• Further instructions, bid security requirements, and detailed eligibility/qualification criteria are provided in the bidding documents.

Submission and opening:

• Deadline for submission of bids: 2026-08-17 at 11:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time.
• Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend. Late bids will be rejected.
