Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR), PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Ferozepur Road, Lahore invites applications for positions on a project titled "Cultivation & Processing of Medicinal & Industrial Cannabis on Experimental Fields and Establishment of Testing and Product Development Facilities" (in collaboration with an agricultural university). Appointments are on lump-sum/contract basis for the project.

| Technician (Agriculture) | BSc/BS Agriculture, preferably with 2-3 years' experience in agriculture/plant breeding. Responsibilities include pilot-plant processing, cultivation, harvesting and processing of crops under experimental field conditions and safe handling of raw materials. | 01 |
| Technician (Processing/Textiles) | BSc/BS (relevant engineering/technology) with 2-3 years' experience in machinery, fiber processing, spinning and industrial production. Preference for candidates with practical experience in fiber extraction, hemp processing and development of extraction machinery. | 01 |
Terms & application instructions: Selection will be made on merit. Appointments are on contract basis initially for 12 months, extendable on satisfactory performance. Applications must include CV and attested copies of CNIC, domicile, educational certificates and other relevant documents. Government servants should apply through proper channel. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview; no TA/DA will be paid. Candidates may be posted anywhere in PCSIR Laboratories across the country.
