Senior Registrar (BPS-18) Positions — Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore

Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute (SZPGMI), Lahore is inviting applications for regular posts of Senior Registrar (BPS-18) in multiple clinical specialties. Appointments will be made on a regular basis in accordance with SZPGMI rules and federal regulations.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Basic qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC.

- For basic sciences/non-medical graduates: M.Sc. of a recognized university in the relevant subject is acceptable.

- Postgraduate qualification: D.Sc., Ph.D., FCPS, MD, MS, M.Phil or equivalent recognized by PM&DC. MD/FCPS with DPH where applicable.

Experience

- Five years of teaching or practical experience before or after the postgraduate qualification for holders of higher postgraduate qualifications (e.g., FCPS). Preference order: 1) Teaching experience, 2) Practical experience after postgraduate qualification, 3) Practical experience before postgraduate qualification.

Research

- Credit will be given to original research publications in standard medical journals.

Important Notes & Conditions

- Age relaxation and quotas (disabled, minorities, women, transgender) as per Federal Government rules. Provincial/Federal government employees should apply through proper channel; employees with a minimum of 2 years regular service may get additional age relaxation up to 10 years subject to maximum age limits stated by the institute.

- SZPGMI reserves the right to verify information, cancel candidature for false/forged records, change/cancel/postpone recruitment, and will only call shortlisted candidates for test/interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
