University of Karachi invites applications for one contractual post of Director, Office of Research Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC). The role requires leadership in research fostering, innovation and commercialization, development of research policies, concept notes and business development plans, and coordination with industry, donors and regulatory bodies.

| Experience & Eligibility | Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in research projects, commercialization, project management, entrepreneurship or related areas in public or private universities/institutions. Candidate must demonstrate clear vision, leadership, and in-depth knowledge of research innovation, commercialization and industry-academia linkages per HEC guidelines. A Ph.D. holder with at least four HEC-recognised research publications in WoS/Scopus indexed journals is eligible. Maximum age limit 55 years at time of submission. Minimum two years' experience serving as Director ORIC is preferred. Proven experience coordinating with senior HEC officials required. |
