National Skills University Islamabad invites applications for project-based positions under the HEC-approved NRPU project "Bridging TVET to IT Employment: An ANN Guided Skills Mapping, Shortage Forecasting, and Placement Pilot for Pakistan" (Project No. 165444-43). Principal Investigator: Prof. Dr. Saud Altaf.

| Research Assistant | MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence/Data Science, Software Engineering or relevant field from an HEC-recognized university. Strong skills in Python, machine learning, ANN, NLP, data analysis, survey design, and report writing. Experience in TVET, skills mapping, employability or placement projects preferred. | 1 | Rs. 80,000–100,000 per month (lump-sum). Maximum 18 months. |
| Undergraduate Student | Currently enrolled undergraduate students at National Skills University in Computer Science, Information Engineering Technology, Cyber Security, or related fields. Skills in MS Excel, Google Forms, data collection/entry, web & mobile app development, knowledge of ANN models and practical implementation, and report writing preferred. | 2 | Rs. 15,000–20,000 per month (lump-sum). Maximum 18 months. |
| Short Term Project Personnel | Minimum 12 years of education. Support areas: field coordination, data collection, data entry, dashboard/portal support, documentation and technical reporting. Practical exposure to IT skills preferred. | 1 | Rs. 20,000 per month (lump-sum). Maximum 10 months. |

Selection will follow HEC NRPU rules and is subject to approved budget, project needs, performance and availability of funds. The contract may be terminated for unsatisfactory performance or non-availability of funds. The positions are purely project based and do not confer any right to permanent appointment. The University reserves the right to accept, reject or cancel the hiring process without assigning a reason.
