RAK Ceramics Public Notice — Restraint on Unauthorized Use of 'RAK' Marks (Lahore)

Issuer: RAK Ceramics PJSC (Ras Al Khaimah, UAE), registered proprietor of the trademarks “RAK”, “RAK CERAMICS” and “RAK PORCELAIN” in Pakistan. The company has initiated trademark infringement, passing off and unfair competition proceedings before the Honourable Intellectual Property Tribunal, Punjab, Lahore.

The Tribunal has restrained the following parties, and all persons acting through or under them, from using the trademarks “RAK” or any identical or deceptively similar mark in relation to tiles, ceramics, sanitaryware or allied products:

RAK Ceramics emphasises that it will take all necessary legal action to protect its name and products. The company does not accept liability and provides no warranty for any counterfeit or infringing products or for products whose manufacture, sale or use is found to infringe its rights.

Warning: Any person or entity dealing in counterfeit and/or infringing “RAK” branded products sourced from the above parties or any unauthorized persons may be liable for trademark infringement, passing off, unfair competition and other civil or criminal actions.
