Invitation to Bid — Supply & Services for IG Prisons Gilgit-Baltistan (Closing 2026-07-23)

Office of the Inspector General of Prisons, Gilgit-Baltistan (IG Prisons GB) invites sealed tenders from reputed registered firms/dealers/suppliers/contractors on a Single Stage-Two Envelope basis for procurement and supply of items/services for the Financial Year 2026-27. Bidding documents may be obtained from the Office of the Inspector General Prisons, Gilgit-Baltistan (near Airport Old District Jail Office, Gilgit) during office hours.

Key instructions and eligibility:

- Bidders must submit earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) issued by any scheduled bank in favor of the DDO, Inspector General Prisons, Gilgit-Baltistan, along with bid documents.

- Bids with incomplete or false supporting documents may be rejected. All bidders should attach the prescribed Treasury Challan along with technical proposals/documents.

- Bidders must submit a one-year bank statement showing transactions of approximately PKR 5,000,000 with a minimum closing balance of PKR 2,000,000 (as indicated in the notice).

- An affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of PKR 50 declaring the bidder is not blacklisted must be submitted. Firms/contractors must be registered/enlisted with a recognized Government Department, Authority or Organization.

- The Procuring Agency will evaluate bids in accordance with the Gilgit-Baltistan Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (GBPPRA) Rules, 2022 (Single Stage – Two Envelope Procedure). The agency reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids as per rules. If the opening date falls on a holiday, bids will be opened on the next working day. Only technical proposals will be opened on the dates above; financial proposals of technically qualified bidders will be opened later.
