Public Sector Auction — Scrap Materials (AS-IS/WHERE-IS) at Pir Mujahid Stop, Karachi — Closing 2026-07-22

Public Sector Organization invites sealed bids to dispose of scrap materials on an "AS AND WHERE BASIS". Sealed bids must be submitted to the Office of the Convener Auction Committee adjacent to Pir Mujahid Stop, Near Winder, Main RCD Highway Karachi/Quetta Road.

Key dates & actions:

- Inspection of scrap/stores: 2026-07-20 at 1000 hrs (report to be submitted at the Office of Convener, Pir Mujahid Stop, Near Winder, Main RCD Highway Karachi/Quetta Road).

- Deadline for deposit of earnest money (25% of bid) and submission of sealed bids: 2026-07-22 by 1300 hrs. Bids remain valid for 90 days from opening.

Participation & payment:

- Bidders/individuals shall be allowed to participate subject to security/study clearance by the auction committee.

- Interested parties must deposit sealed bids along with pay order/demand draft of earnest money equal to 25% of the bid amount before 1300 hrs on 2026-07-22 at the Office of Convener Auction Committee.

- Earnest money will be returned to unsuccessful bidders after finalization. Successful bidders must pay 100% of the sale price plus applicable taxes as per government rules.

- Successful bidders must remove/lift scrap within 30 days of approval of bid; failure to lift will result in forfeiture of the 25% deposit and cancellation of the bid.

Other conditions:

- Bids are for "Complete Lot" only; partial bids for individual quantity/weight are not acceptable and may be cancelled.

- All participants must bring original valid CNIC along with two photocopies; without originals they will not be allowed.

- The organization reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, without assigning any reason.
