Punjab Highway Department Tender: Annual Road Repairs & Excavator Hire (Vehari) – Bid Deadline 2026-07-17

Issuing Authority: Punjab Highway Department – Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Vehari (Superintending Engineer, Highway Circle Multan overseeing opening).

Purpose: Invitation to pre-qualified engineering firms/contractors to bid for annual repair works and hiring of an excavator in Highway Sub Division Vehari under the PPRA E-Tendering System.

Key eligibility & submission requirements:

• Firms must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and hold a valid renewed PEC licence for Financial Year 2025-26.
• Contractors/firms must be registered on the Punjab PPRA e-procurement website (http://www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) to participate.
• Bid security: Only CDR (Bank Draft) will be accepted as bid security. CDR/Bank Draft must be in favor of the Executive Engineer, Highways Division, Vehari equal to 5% of the estimated cost (DNT amount).
• Original CDR and valid PEC licence must be submitted physically to the office of the Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Vehari by the bid submission deadline; uploaded bids without submission of originals will be considered non-responsive.
• Performance Guarantee: Lowest evaluated bidder must submit Performance Security/Guarantee equal to 10% of contract amount within 15 days of issuance of the letter of acceptance. Only CDR/Bank Draft/Bank Guarantee valid for 03 months beyond completion time will be accepted for performance security.
• All bids must be uploaded on the Punjab e-procurement website as per the portal timeline. Bidders may attend the opening in the office of the Superintending Engineer, Highway Circle, Multan.
• Failure to comply with the outlined procedure, timelines, or documentation will render bids non-responsive.
