LG&CD Civil Division, Gujrat invites electronic bids from eligible contractors/firms through the Punjab e-Procurement System for 17 development works (construction of roads, streets, drains & culverts) in Gujrat district. Eligible contractors must be enlisted/renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the relevant category and meet all eligibility requirements in the bidding documents. Bids will be submitted and opened electronically via the Punjab e-Procurement System. Manual or hard copies will not be accepted.
Key instructions:
- Bidding documents, including detailed instructions, eligibility criteria, specifications, BOQ and conditions, can be downloaded free of cost from the Punjab e-Procurement System and PPRA Punjab website.
- Bid security: 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted only through an e-Bank Guarantee (Digital Bank Guarantee) via the Punjab e-Procurement System.
- Performance security: Successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Security equal to 10% of the Contract Price within the time prescribed in the bidding documents.
- Bids shall be valid for 60 days from the date of opening unless otherwise specified.
- Procurement will follow Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended). The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder.
- Only bids submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System will be accepted.
