Issuer: Government of Pakistan (Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif) in collaboration with NADRA, Controller General of Accounts, Military Accountant General, Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defence, and Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
Purpose: Free electronic issuance of the Proof of Life Certificate for pensioners to ensure uninterrupted pension payments and eliminate the need to visit banks or embassies.

| Pensioners covered in the first phase: pensioners under Federal and Provincial Accountants General (including Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK under CGA) and all three armed forces under Military Accountant General. Pensioners residing abroad may also submit via the app instead of visiting an embassy. | Download the Pak ID mobile app (scan QR code in official notice). Create an account, log in and navigate to the "Proof of Life" section. If an elderly pensioner cannot use the app, a family member (spouse, son, daughter, parents, sister or brother) may perform the process on their behalf. Complete photo/fingerprint verification within the app. The Proof of Life Certificate will be automatically transferred to the concerned Pension Controller. Service is free; no bank visit required. |
