Final Show Cause Notice — Cantonment Board Clifton for Mr. Pervax Khan (Absent since 25.06.2024)

Issuer: Cantonment Board Clifton (Executive Officer). This final show cause notice is issued under Rules 49 and 50 of the Pakistan Cantonment Servants Rules, 1954 (as amended), by direction of the Additional Director General, Military Lands & Cantonments, Rawalpindi. Reference letters: ADG ML&C Rawalpindi Letter No. 92/210/ADG (Est)/ML&C/07 dated 31.07.2026 and RHO ML&C Karachi Letter No. 3/150 DKR Gent/Vol-04/40/2071 dated 10.08.2026.

Allegation: Unauthorized absence from duty without prior intimation or permission of the competent authority, prima facie amounting to misconduct/indiscipline and attracting disciplinary action under Rules 49 and 50, including the possibility of major penalty (removal from service).

Action required: The employee is directed to report for duty at Cantonment Board Clifton immediately and to submit a written explanation to the Additional Director General, Military Lands & Cantonments, Rawalpindi, through the Executive Officer, Clifton Cantonment, within FOURTEEN (14) DAYS from the date of publication of this notice. The explanation must address why the absence should not be treated as unauthorized and why the charge should not be held proved and forwarded for imposition of a major penalty.

If no reply is received within the stipulated period, or if the explanation is unsatisfactory, proceedings will continue on the basis of the available record and the case may be forwarded to the competent authority for appropriate orders without further notice.
