NEPRA Seeks Comments on Proposed Wheeling Auction Process Amendments

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) invites written comments on proposed amendments to the Wheeling Auction Process submitted by the Independent System and Market Operator of Pakistan (ISMO). The proposals include a mandatory co-location requirement for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with solar or wind generation in the auction, allowing ISMO to extend the proposal submission deadline by up to one month, and the constitution of a Grievance Redressal Committee for eligibility grievances.
